What types of accommodations are available at Halibut Cove Rentals?

We offer six unique, family-owned cabins: the Green Cabin, Lighthouse, The Crossing House, The Boathouse, Ted's Cabin, and The Sea Shanty. Each cabin provides a tranquil and nature-filled experience in the heart of Halibut Cove.

How do I get to Halibut Cove?

Halibut Cove is accessible by water taxi or private boat from Homer, Alaska. Please note we only allow approved water taxis. Detailed transportation information is available on our website under the Location & Transportation section.

How can I make a reservation?

What amenities are included with the cabins?

Each cabin is equipped with comfortable furnishings and essential amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. Specific amenities may vary by cabin; please refer to the individual cabin descriptions on our website for detailed information.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome at our cabins. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring your pet, and note there will be a $50 pet fee. 

What activities are available in Halibut Cove?

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including kayaking, hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring local art galleries. The serene environment offers ample opportunities for relaxation and adventure.

What should I bring for my stay?

We recommend bringing groceries and personal items, as there are no shopping options in Halibut Cove. Each cabin has basic kitchen facilities for meal preparation. There is a coffee house located on the island with snacks and beverages.

Is there internet access or cell phone coverage?

Cell phone coverage can be limited in some areas on the island.  We also have free WiFi available at our coffee house for your use during your stay so you can choose to stay connected while you're here.

What is the cancellation policy?

Are there dining options nearby?

While there are no dining facilities directly at our rentals, guests can enjoy a meal at The Saltry, a well-known restaurant in Alaska. We recommend making reservations in advance to experience their fresh, locally inspired cuisine in a stunning waterfront setting. Additionally, guests are encouraged to bring their own groceries, as there are limited shopping options in the area.
